The baby dungarees feature adjustable straps for growing babies and two cute patch pockets on the front with the Aneby hem tag. There is plenty of space for a reusable nappy, and it’s finished with dyed-to-match poppers. They’re available in blush pink, slate blue, and oat.

These organic baby ribbed cotton dungarees were the inspiration behind Aneby as we were struggling to find a cute outfit with lots of room for a reusable nappy. We explored different fabrics but finally settled on this gorgeous jersey-rib. It’s perfect for little ones as it’s super soft and stretchy.
The design is complex, with binding across the armholes finished with a top stitch, a coverstitch across the back and neck facings, and a centre-back seam bringing it all together. The straps have been reinforced because we know kids like to yank things. There is a gusset sewn into place for that extra nappy space, and a cute binding along the inside leg and cuffs for popper placement.
Here at Aneby we pride ourselves on being a small business that genuinely cares about the environment. There are no large production runs and therefore very little wastage. It also means the garments are unique with only a small number of children wearing each design.
