The design process was something we spent many weeks going back and forth on, trying to find the balance between a stunning finish and a practical kids outfit. We wanted this children’s boilersuit to be a parent’s go-to garment when there is a birthday party or a big event, where your child deserves to look and feel their best.  

For the atelier enthusiasts we achieved this through a unique design process which features dyed-to-match metal ring snaps on a full-length placket, a distinguished back yoke with high quality seam detail, a classic shirt collar, twice rolled hems, three patch pockets with reinforced triangle stitching and our signature Aneby hem tag.

This kids jumpsuit is available in dusty pink, slate blue, and oat. The fabric is 95% organic cotton, which is a must have for little ones.

This was an absolute joy to design because we were able to use our own experiences of dressing little ones to create what we feel is the perfect jumpsuit. It’s not always easy to find a garment that will keep your child snug and warm, while allowing them to feel free and mobile. The secret was finding a stretchy organic fabric that we could mould around a little person – but don’t tell any of our competitors!

The technical aspects of this jumpsuit were quite challenging, as it consists of nine pieces that need to be expertly cut and then simultaneously stitched. This includes the rise gusset around the rear, the 14mm inseam binding with dyed-to-match poppers, and the front placket, which weaves its way into the neck.

We are pleased to offer this jumpsuit in GOTS certified organic cotton. This is the leading international certification from the Global Organic Textile Standard. It means our fabrics meet strict criteria on chemical inputs, fibre content, and working conditions.

Our sleeveless rib baby romper has been one of our bestsellers and was the very first garment we created. It features rounded shoulder tabs with dyed-to-match poppers to keep everything in place.

Thanks to the rear gusset, there’s plenty of space for cloth nappies and the garment is finished with some small poppers around the inside leg. It’s made from a lovely 270gsm jersey rib fabric for a luxurious finish. It also benefits from GOTS organic certification which makes it ideal for children with skin allergies.

This piece is the one that inspired Aneby when we realised we could create a garment we believe is better than anything else on the high street at a comparable price. In fact, the model is our daughter, Freya, at six months old.

If, like us, you’re into the design details, it features an outside binding edge with a rise gusset attached to the back inseam. The patch pocket has been reinforced with triangle stitching and the sewn-on cuffs have been finished with edge stitching.
